The home screen shows your total balance (MVR + USD combined), split into separate MVR and USD cards. Below that is the Quick Add Expense form — amount, description, category, date — and your 8 most recent transactions. When you first open the app, tap + Add First Transaction to get started.

See all your transactions with a search bar and Filter button. Tap Filter to expand options: Type (All/Expenses/Income), Currency (All/MVR/USD), Date Range, and Category. The summary cards at the top update to show what's currently filtered — in All mode you see MVR and USD net cards with income vs expenses. Tap ✎ on any transaction to edit it. Tap ✕ to delete.

Use the ‹ Prev / Next › arrows to browse any past month. The top card shows your savings rate % plus Earned/Spent/Saved for the month. Below that: Daily Spending chart, Spending by Category (all categories with % of total), Spending Patterns (typical daily spend, highest day, projected month-end), Biggest Expenses, and a 6-month Income vs Expenses trend chart.

Projected Month-End uses the Median Run-Rate method — it takes the median daily spend (which naturally ignores big one-off payments like rent) and projects remaining days from your current total. Shows "Calculating..." for the first 2 days of the month.

Add planned expenses for the month — rent, subscriptions, bills. Tap + Add Planned Expense, enter name, amount, category and optional note. When you pay one, tap the ✓ check — it will ask if you want to log it as a transaction too (tap Yes to auto-add it). Tap the ✎ edit icon to change any planned item. Monthly Budgets are also here — set a per-category spending limit and track progress with colour-coded bars.

Create savings pots with a name, currency (MVR or USD), and optional target. Tap + Deposit to put money in — this auto-logs as an expense in Transactions (money leaving your wallet into savings). Tap − Withdraw to take money out — auto-logs as income. Set a target to see a progress bar. The top card shows your total savings across all pots.

Track money you owe or are owed. Tap + Add Entry and choose I Owe or Owed to Me. When adding, you can choose to log it as a transaction at the same time (e.g. if someone lent you cash, log it as income). Tap 💸 Settle to record a payment — partial or full. Settled debts move to History. Tap ✎ edit to change any debt entry.

Opening Balance — set your starting MVR and USD balance so totals are accurate from day one.

USD Rate — set the exchange rate used for all estimated MVR totals.

Categories — tap any category name to rename it. Tap the colour swatch to change its colour. Drag ⠿ to reorder. Tap ✕ to remove.

Export — Export All does a full backup to Excel. On the Transactions tab you can export filtered data as PDF or Excel.

Import — import a previously exported backup file to restore or merge data.

Clear All — permanently deletes all data. Requires password confirmation.

• Add expenses from home — the Quick Add form is always visible without scrolling.
• Multi-currency — all MVR/USD totals are estimated using your set rate. Actual amounts are stored in original currency.
• Savings ↔ Transactions — depositing to a savings pot auto-logs an expense. Withdrawing auto-logs income. Both are tagged with category "Savings".
• Back button (Android) — navigates through your history. Press Back on Home to exit the app.
• Hide amounts — tap the 👁 eye icon in the header to mask all numbers across the app as ••••••. Charts still render normally. Tap again to reveal. Useful when sharing your screen.
